It's a kendo stick. I had a practice session set in my mind, so I figured...why the hell would Lion-O use the Sword of Omens in practice? He wouldn't.
Other than that, I wanted him to have a bit more of a lion feel to him...mane, big 'four-fingered hands' nose, etc.,.
